2 Things that I hate on infinite scrolling: 1) they are more often then not, badly implemented. The promise of "infinity" is simply not there, because I always end up waiting to load more content, that's almost the same as clicking on to the next page. And the 2), you mentioned it, and I'm happy, because you never reach the footer of a page, where normally you find relevant info.
